What is your personal relationship to or connection with mindfulness?
I'm searching for a holistic approach to feeling confident in and connected to myself. Mindfulness techniques have allowed me to learn and practice compassion, self-love, self-respect, and given me a better ability to trust, not only myself, but also the larger community in which I live.
What is your professional work? As this is a mindfulness-based professional's network we require each member to disclose his or her profession (i.e. teacher, psychotherapist, MD, lawyer, etc.)
Using mindfulness-based techniques in professional work
As a counsellor, I intend to use mindfulness-based techniques in my practice to help enable clients to feel connected to themselves and in control of their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
