What is your personal relationship to or connection with mindfulness?
I am a mindfulness teacher, practitioner, registered psychologist & member of several sanghas. I am also a certified yoga vedanta teacher, and use mindfulness informed approaches in my professional work. I try to live it daily.
What is your professional work? As this is a mindfulness-based professional's network we require each member to disclose his or her profession (i.e. teacher, psychotherapist, MD, lawyer, etc.)
Ph.D. psychologist in clinical practice doing mindfulness based teaching, therapy and groups throughout the city.
Using mindfulness-based techniques in professional work
yes - individual therapy & groups, stress and pain management with mindfulness: mindfulness based group work with anxiety, depression, life transitions, losses and eating issues.
