What is your personal relationship to or connection with mindfulness?
I attended the MBSR course in 1999 and have a daily meditation and mindfulness practice.
What is your professional work? As this is a mindfulness-based professional's network we require each member to disclose his or her profession (i.e. teacher, psychotherapist, MD, lawyer, etc.)
I am a retired civil servant. I completed a professional training program on mindfulness with Jon Kabat-Zinn and now teach the MBSR course.
Using mindfulness-based techniques in professional work
I teach meditation and mindfulness to interested people.

Listening to My Body

I was recently “setting up” my morning meditation - establishing a strong posture and then relaxing the muscles in my upper body. My Son's Graduation

One of the attitudes we cultivate to enhance our being mindful is that of not “striving” – whenever possible and appropriate, not working to achieve a particular outcome from an experience. I relearned this attitude when I attended my son’s graduation.
