What is your personal relationship to or connection with mindfulness?
I have been trained in mindfulness-based approaches and practice mindfulness informally in my day to day life, as well as formally through a regular yoga practice (3 times 75min. per week).
What is your professional work? As this is a mindfulness-based professional's network we require each member to disclose his or her profession (i.e. teacher, psychotherapist, MD, lawyer, etc.)
Doctoral associate in psychology (Psy.D/Ph.D. candidate) with Sogge & Associates Practice in Psychology.
Using mindfulness-based techniques in professional work
I have been trained in acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches, in particular Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also do research on ACT for chronic pain.
