What is your personal relationship to or connection with mindfulness?
I was first introduced to mindfulness through professional training that I completed. I have maintained a personal practice over the past 3 years.
What is your professional work? As this is a mindfulness-based professional's network we require each member to disclose his or her profession (i.e. teacher, psychotherapist, MD, lawyer, etc.)
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. My professional work is grounded in third wave mindfulness-based therapies and I work primarily with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship issues.
Using mindfulness-based techniques in professional work
I have completed professional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
