Profile Information

What is your personal relationship to or connection with mindfulness?
I am passionate about integrating the science of Mindfulness and Yoga into Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I have years of personal experience in the study and practice of Mindfulness and Yoga (Asana {Posture}, Pranayama {Breath work}, Meditation).
What is your professional work? As this is a mindfulness-based professional's network we require each member to disclose his or her profession (i.e. teacher, psychotherapist, MD, lawyer, etc.)
I am a Ph.D. registered, clinical psychologist offering evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, stress and burn-out, as well as problems related to self-esteem using Mindfulness-Informed, Values-Focused, Yoga-Enhanced Cognitive, Schema-Based, and Dialectical Behaviour therapies.
Using mindfulness-based techniques in professional work
I conceptualize and treat cases from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy perspective while actively incorporating Mindfulness-Based practices into treatment.
