This course is based on the well-researched Mindful Self Compassion curriculum designed by Drs. Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer, and specifically tailored for those in recovery from eating disorder and body image difficulties by eating disorder expert and mindful self compassion teacher Ann Biasetti Ph.D..
Course curriculum is eight 2 hour sessions, following the structure of Befriending Your Body: A Self Compassionate Approach to Freeing Yourself from Disordered Eating by Ann Saffi Biasetti (2018).
Two hour weekly sessions will include yoga, meditation, didactic instruction, inquiry and home practice assignments.
Group size limited to maximum 10 participants.
Sessions will address the following as they relate to recovery from an eating disorder, maintaining wellbeing and preventing relapse:

Course cost is for 8 sessions 5:30 to 7:30 pm (2 hours) on the following Thursdays: September 13, 20, (no class Sept 27), October 4, 11, 18, 25, (No class November 1), November 8, 15.
Course handouts and practice MP3s are included in the fees.
Receipts may be available for reimbursement from some extended health plans*
